Its membership renewal time again and LIFE MEMBERS don’t have to pay a cent!!
But we still require you to fill out the Life Membership renewal form (There’s even a reply paid envelope to send it back to us)
So to receive your sporting licence we need you to tell us about how many skydives you did during the year, if you use an AAD and details of any malfunctions you had. This data will help us statistically monitor and analyse the sport along with our safety and incident trends.
Let us know what sort of year you have had! Update your contact details and send us a colour passport photograph. If you don’t we can’t issue you with a new and improved membership card!
What you will get for being an APF life member and filling out the life membership form;
- Five issues of the Australian Skydiving Magazine.
- Participation through APF member organisations and membership of one of the world’s best parachute associations.
- Access to APF informative publications, at no charge e.g. “A” licence Manual, B-rel Tables, Dive Pools, Canopy Handling Manual, Jump Pilot Manual etc.

Think About Your Club Affiliation
Each member is affiliated to the Australian Parachute Federation through a member organisation (clubs and centres). The club/centre represents you at your local Parachute Council. You may choose to be affiliated through any current member organisation by indicating the organisation on your membership renewal form.
All clubs/centres are listed on the APF website.
Read Your Logbook
Let us know what sort of year you have had. We need to know how many jumps you made in order to issue a Sporting Licence. AAD and malfunction details help us with our safety evaluations. Please note that we cannot issue a Sporting Licence if you do not tell us how many jumps you made last year.
